Best Friends

Here are more of those photos I promised!  These were taken around Jersey City.
This is the video Joan made of Ry and I, just being our goofy selves :)

Garden State

Photos by Joan Michel
These past two weeks have been a whirlwind of activity. Numerous shows (our first six-pack), our first national PR on Good Morning America, and somehow still finding time to explore NYC. I’ve experienced: adrenaline at work, complete exhaustion, my first American thanksgiving, little sleep, new friends, new roommates, new photoshoots, and so much more.
Sneak Peek from one of our shoots
I've been having trouble uploading my photos lately, but I will put them here eventually.  Had a great time shooting with Joan.  So many great shots, as well as a video!

Keep a look out guys, they're coming soon ;)

Fake Empire

We're in Raleigh, NC this week.  I'm really loving the south so far.  The people are generally friendly, the weather is warm and the grass is still green.  No need to break out the heavy knits and winter coats just yet, and it's almost Christmas!  It's a nice change for this Alberta girl.  Went for a long relaxing walk yesterday and spent some much-needed time with my camera.

Habachi

This was a good night.  Three shows, habachi, and Spirited Away :)

NYC Part 1

This week we are performing in Uniondale, NY.  So before we started, I spent a day in the city just roaming and absorbing the atmosphere.  It's only been a short while so far, but I love it already.

Halloween

Halloween is one of my favourite holidays, even though I am not the biggest fan of candy.  It allows one to be totally creative and inventive.
This year I was a table stand.  I got a piece of cardboard, a lampshade, and bought a table cloth.  I then used markers to create items on my "table".  It was also multi-purpose, as it was strong enough to hold drinks and plates.
The entire outfit took me about an hour and cost $1.37 :)

A costume doesn't have to be costly or elaborate in order to be effective!

Stillness

Last week, my friend Justin and I did a small photoshoot early in the morning to capture the leaves changing colour.
The grass was a bit dewy that morning, so unfortunately I couldn't make a leaf pile to jump in.  But we will have to do that eventually because this is his very first fall season, and every person should have that experience, right? ;)
