Wicker Park

I spent a day in the Wicker Park district of Chicago with a good friend of mine.  This area of the city was very approachable and had a cool vibe.  I could see myself living there.

Coincidently, one of my favorite films is Wicker Park.  So of course The Scientist by Coldplay was stuck in my head...

Such Great Heights

These were taken from the 103rd floor of the Willis Tower in Chicago.  

It was truly an exercise to capture the passing of time and light.  I wanted to encompass all the colours and atmosphere as I saw it.  Looking back, we must've been up there for hours, since it was daylight when we first arrived.  It felt more like a minute.
