One of the girls in charge of wardrobe warned me that I was going to be at the fitting for a long time, and that there was a lot of standing very still and waiting, but it was so inspiring to see all these milliners and designers in action.

Today was the first full day of rehearsal.  So much energy and enthusiasm from everyone and everywhere!  The choreography is energetic, complex, fast, and most of all, SO FUN.  It's going to be a great show, and I can't wait for us to perform it for you all!

First Day

Officially in Florida!  On the connecting flight from Denver yesterday, I met three other cast members named Jana, Justin, and Jonathan.  I also became acquainted with my roommate, Savannah.  We are all getting along just fine :)



A few notes about some of the skaters here:

• There are 37 cast members in this show
• 4 are from South Africa
• About 40% of the cast is all-new.  This is an unusually high amount.
• I have met 3 fellow Canadians so far
• My roommate is from Los Angeles
• Many of them have a name starting with the letter 'J': Jana, Joe, Justin R, Justin, Jonny, Josh, Jenna, Jonathan, Johansen, Jade, etc...

Dare to Dream

Well, now is the time to explain the existence of this blog. Very soon, my life will be heading in a new direction, and I have loved ones out there that would like to share some of the experience with me. This is my way of spreading the magic :)

I am going to be in Disney on Ice!

Disney on Ice presents Dare to Dream is a brand new production featuring two of Disney's newest fairytales Tangled and Princess and the Frog, as well as the classic, Cinderella.

This week, I spent quite a bit of time at West Edmonton Mall.

One of the things I did was go to Ropes Quest.  It's a 3-level "jungle gym" that you maneuver though while being connected to a harness.  Some obstacles were easy and others were a bit more challenging.  We were all laughing, attempting tricks, and losing our balance ;) (Some more than others :P)
