Toronto Fashion Week Part 1

This post is terribly late, but it's here now!  I will do my best to catch you up as much as possible of all the fun that happened ;)
Toronto skyline from the rooftop of The Thompson Hotel.  Including the Rogers Centre, where our show was held.
Toronto was such a blast, meeting numerous fascinating and creative people during Fashion Week.  Got into some fantastic events such as the Adrian Wu show and the J.Lindenburg after-party, among others.

I thoroughly enjoyed the show and the way it was presented.  The designs first appear complex and unapproachable, but upon closer inspection you realize they are simply, bizarrely wonderful the way they are.  This contrast was expressed between the dreamy forest runway and the severity of the Kabuki masks, all set to Yann Tiersen's whimsical soundtrack for the film le fabuleux destin d'amélie poulain.
Overall, it shows to look past the first impression; to look at details before pulling away to see the full picture.
Kreesha Turner was at the show.
